Upper School Clubs
Enriching the Experience
A Shelton education goes beyond academics. We provide a full range of experiences in academics, arts, athletics, music and theater in order to cultivate the unique gifts and talents of the creative, intelligent, progressive and resilient students that Shelton serves. These opportunities foster a greater understanding of the world – from arts, drama, music and sports to community service, character building and volunteer opportunities. Shelton students gain leadership skills, participate in extra-curricular activities and acquire greater appreciation for the people and community around them.
The Shelton Upper School class schedule will be slightly altered to accommodate regular club meetings on specific Fridays designated Club Fridays. Please see the list of Club Fridays scheduled this year, 2023-2024 FRIDAY CLUB DATES
The FRIDAY CLUB CLASS SCHEDULE includes opportunities for 8:00 a.m and 8:30 a.m. club meetings. Therefore, 1st period will begin at 9:10 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m. Dismissal time will move from 3:15 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.
If your student is not attending a club, they have the opportunity to receive tutoring from Shelton Upper School teachers in the Commons from 8:00 am until 9:05.
