Summer Scholars

Scholars for ages 7 – 18 years old

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Date: June 8 - June 26 (Session 1)
          July 6 - July 17 (Session 2)

The Scholars Program delivers specialized support for students with learning differences through small-group, targeted tutoring in reading, spelling, handwriting, and auditory discrimination. Our instruction is provided by dedicated, trained paraprofessionals who implement a proven, evidence-based dyslexia curriculum. To guarantee optimal learning and group fit, all new students must complete a personalized placement screening before enrollment begins. No conferences are conducted. Families receive a checklist of skills covered each Friday.

Session 1 (14 days):
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Date: June 8th - 26th

  • Registration Fee (Non-refundable): $50
  • Scholars fee:
    • On or before April 15: $1,260
    • Beginning April 16: $1,360

Holidays: There will be no Scholars on June 19th.
Refund Policy: For cancellations received on or before May 1, fees will be refunded, less 10%. Cancellations received between May 2 – May 31, fees will be refunded less 50%. No refunds will be given for cancellations after May 31.

Session 2 (10 days):
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Date: July 6th - 17th 

  • Registration Fee (Non-refundable): $50
  • Scholars fee:
    • On or before April 15: $900
    • Beginning April 16: $1,000

Refund Policy: For cancellations received on or before June 1, fees will be refunded, less 10%. Cancellations received between June 2 - 17, fees will be refunded less 50%. No refunds will be given for cancellations after June 17.

  • Register online early to assure your place, as space is limited. You will receive a confirmation email after registration. Please check your junk mail folder. Payment is due upon registration. Registration fee includes benchmarking, informal report, an online parent session overview of the program, and all materials.

Tutor for Tuition

Parents who complete the required two-day training and commit to serving as a program tutor are eligible for 50% off their child’s program tuition. Needs-based scholarships are also available.
