Back to School Prep Week

Back to School Prep Week takes place Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. The class will provide students with helpful information and structure for the upcoming academic year. Skills week will have limited enrollment in order to keep the student-teacher ratio low, so register now. This class is only offered to Shelton students entering 1st - 8th grades.

  • Payment is due upon registration.
  • A minimum of six students is required for all classes. Enroll early to prevent cancellation of classes. 
  • Class closures will be determined on or before July 19, 2024
  • Online registration will close on July 25, 2024
  • Registration Fee (non refundable) $15
  • Cost: $350 

Refund Policy: For cancellations received before July 1st, fees will be refunded less the registration fee. For cancellations received between July 1st and July 18th, fees will be refunded, less the registration fee and 50% of tuition. No refunds will be given for cancellations after July 18th.

Carpool for Back to School Prep Week:

  • Primary or elementary will be dropped off and picked up at the Lower School entrance of the school (enter campus from Summerside). Students may not be dropped off before 8:45 am. 
  • 5th - 10th grades will be dropped off and picked up at the front, main entrance of the school (enter campus from McCallum). Students may not be dropped off before 8:45 am.
  • Students are to be picked up in the designated carpool area immediately following their session. 
  • A late fee of one dollar per minute will be charged for late pick up.

Attire: Appropriate casual clothing conducive to an academic learning environment. No distractive clothing, hats, short shorts, bare midriffs, halter tops, inappropriate slogans or visible tattoos. Pierced jewelry may only be visible in the earlobes. No earrings for boys. For all 6th – 12th graders, shorts, pants, or skirts should be knee length or longer. Students not in compliance with attire requirements will be asked to change into clothes borrowed from the school, have a parent bring appropriate clothes, or be sent home. Athletic shoes are required for students enrolled in the Early Childhood and Kindergarten Morning Programs.
