To ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with Shelton’s mission:

Plaque Text Rules

Plaques may include:

  • Individual names and/or family names
  • “In honor of” / “In memory of” wording

Plaques may not include:

  • Logos, trademarks, taglines, or slogans
  • Phone numbers, email addresses, URLs, QR codes or social media handles
  • Advertising or promotional language
  • Content that is political, divisive or otherwise not aligned with Shelton’s mission

Final approval of all plaque text resides with Shelton School.

Seat Assignment and Use

Seat naming is honorary recognition only and does not:

  • Provide ownership of a specific seat
  • Guarantee reserved seating
  • Include tickets or admissions to events

Seat locations are assigned by Shelton School. While donors may name multiple seats, we cannot guarantee seats will be placed together and donors may not select specific seat numbers or locations.
