Shelton Remembers Joseph Paul (Joey) Wolf

Joseph Paul (Joey) Wolf was born August 6, 1982 in Harrisburg, PA. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hilton Head, SC on January 24, 2019.

He was a graduate of Shelton School of Dallas in 2002. While at Shelton, he participated in theater and was an assistant with the football team. He developed enduring relationships with teachers and made many life-long-friends. Following high school, he attended New York Institute of Technology, where he obtained a degree in Culinary Arts. Following graduation at NYIT, Joey moved to Hilton Head, SC. During his time there, he held numerous positions in the culinary field and was a friendly face to customers and co-workers alike.

Joey was an avid sports fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and attended most home games. He also enjoyed NASCAR and attended most of the Texas races. He enjoyed the beach, golfing and travel. He was strongly rooted in his Christian faith.

He was a devoted son who loved spending time with his parents and family.  Joey was known for his infectious laugh, his bright smile, and his kind nature. He made friends everywhere he went, and was well known all over Hilton Head Island.

The Joseph Paul (Joey) Wolf Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 to honor Joey and support Tuition Assistance for a deserving student.
