What is the Stampede Benefit Auction?
With the help of numerous parent volunteers, the Shelton Parent’s Association hosts an event each spring to bring our Shelton community together to raise funds for our wonderful school. This event, called the Shelton Stampede Annual Auction, changes venues and themes from year to year, but is always a wonderful evening with dinner, dancing, live auction, live entertainment and an opportunity for our parents and alum to gather together to celebrate one cause. The funds raised from this event provide heightened experiences in academic areas, fine arts, athletics, extra-curricular activities and tuition assistance for students through the Shelton Endowment Fund and the Shelton Scholarship Fund.

What is the attire for the evening?
The attire for the evening is Resort Chic. For women this is either a dress, skirt or pants and a fun top. For men it refers to trousers and a collared shirt. Make sure to be comfortable so you can dance the night away to our live band, Professor D.

Where will the event be held?
This year’s auction will be held at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas. The venue is located on the southeast corner of Dallas Love Field Airport. Please use the University Street entrance off Lemmon to access the Museum and follow the access road to the entrance. The address is 6911 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX 75209.

Where do I park?
You can self park or valet park. Valet parking is sponsored by Audi Dallas.

What does an individual ticket include?
An individual ticket to the event includes a cocktail reception, seated dinner and open bar all evening. If purchasing your tickets via a mobile device select Menu, then Buy Stampede Tickets. You can also be an Underwriter which includes access to the Admiral’s Club and priority seating.

How do I purchase a table or tickets?
To purchase a table or a ticket go to https://shelton.muradbid.com and click on the Buy Stampede Ticket. If purchasing your tickets via a mobile device select Menu, then Buy Stampede Tickets. Tickets are available to purchase through Tuesday, March 22.  

If I purchase a single ticket, can I choose where I sit and with whom?
If you purchase a single ticket, you will be placed at a table with other single ticket purchasers. When purchasing a single ticket, please complete the Seating Request box below the ticket purchase. All requests will be considered and all efforts will be made to accommodate those requests. If you are new to Shelton, please list your child(s) grade level in the Seating Request box and the Auction Committee will do their best to place you next to families in your child(s) grade.

What is Stock the Bar and how do I participate?
At the Stampede event, dozens of bottles of wine valued from $30 to $150 per bottle and liquor valued from $50 to $150 will be beautifully displayed (with all identifying markings concealed). Attendees who purchase Wine Tickets (only $30 each) or Liquor Tickets ($50 each) may select ANY bottle(s) to reveal their winning bottle!

Is there a way to sponsor a faculty member and a guest?
If you would like to sponsor a Shelton faculty member and a guest, please go to https://shelton.muradbid.com and click on the Buy Stampede Ticket If purchasing your tickets via a mobile device select Menu, then Buy Stampede Tickets. Tickets are available to purchase through Wednesday, March 23.  

Is there really a chance to win a full year’s tuition at Shelton?
Yes! If you purchase a raffle ticket for a free year’s tuition, you will be entered to win! Each ticket is $100 and you do not need to be present to win. 

When does the Online Auction start?
The Online Auction will open on Friday, March 25 at 9:00 a.m. and will close on Thursday, March 31 at 10:00 p.m. Raffle tickets, Big Board and Parent Parties will close Friday, April 1 at 10:00 p.m.
