SchoolPass is Shelton’s electronic carpool and symptom screening system.
In March 2020, Shelton launched the SchoolPass Carpool module, followed in August 2020 by the Wellness (daily symptom screening) module. SchoolPass may be accessed via the website from any internet-connected device or from a smartphone via the SchoolPass Parent app. Download the SchoolPass Parent App if you would like to use it with your smartphone.
SchoolPass allows parents to communicate changes to their child's carpool, late arrivals, early pickups, or absences through the SchoolPass app or the SchoolPass website. These changes made through SchoolPass will automatically be sent to the division office, the advisor, and any other parents in your carpool (if applicable).
All students, staff, and visitors must complete a daily wellness check prior to arriving on campus. This is a new requirement for schools from the CDC and TEA due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Wellness Screening form may be accessed via the website from any internet-connected device or from a smartphone via the SchoolPass Parent app. You will receive reminders each school day to complete the Wellness screening.
Once you have signed in, click the green “Wellness Update” button, answer the questions, and hit ‘submit.’ You won’t get a confirmation, but a green check will appear next to Wellness Status. If you get a red check next to the Wellness Update button, that means your child should not come to school. Please notify either Lisa Nagid, RN, or Eve Herman, RN at 972-774-1772, Option 6 of the reason why your child failed the screening.
