MACAR Sensorial Curriculum provides a child with investigation of visual, auditory, tactile-kinesthetic, gustatory and olfactory identification and discrimination.

MACAR manuals are a compilation of Montessori lessons matched to characteristics of a child who is at risk for learning differences. Each manual breaks lessons into small steps, emphasizing oral language development. In the Sensorial materials, gradations of dimensions are at the level of "just noticeable difference." The importance of the Sensorial area is to refine and train the child's senses.
