Course Description: The staff at Shelton School implement techniques to make math more accessible to students who struggle. These techniques will be presented in this seminar. Students benefit from math instruction delivered in a multisensory, structured, sequential way. The logic behind the activities, as well as the hands-on practice with activities from simple to complex concepts, will be presented. A strong emphasis on manipulatives will be maintained. ALTA CEUs are available for this seminar.
