Both were friends at Shelton who dated after college and married in December 2016. Scott, who has dyslexia, started at Shelton in preschool, played tennis, joined the math club and was valedictorian of Shelton's Class of 2008. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Finance Applications from SMU in 2012. He is now DevOps Cloud Engineer for River Logic, a software company. Kate, who has ADD and some auditory processing challenges, started Shelton in tenth grade and graduated from Austin College in Sherman with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her MBA at SMU in 2018, concentrating on finance, real estate and strategy, and is currently Associate Director of Portfolio Management at Invesco. "Shelton teachers really gave me the tools to take a step back, breathe and get done what I needed to get done in school. I really credit Shelton for not only giving me tools to handle school, but giving me confidence in myself. I don't think I would have made it through undergrad or even tried to pursue an MBA without that." | SEND US YOUR STUDENT AND ALUMNI NEWS Has your child held an interesting job, volunteered in the community or had any other special achievement?
