Every home in the U.S. is now eligible to order an additional two sets of four free at-home tests. If you already ordered your first set, order a second today. Go to www.covidtests.gov to order. |
THE STAMPEDE AUCTION IS APRIL 1 On Friday, April 1, the Shelton community will gather to celebrate at our 2022 Auction: Destination Unknown, Adventure Awaits. The evening will feature live entertainment, a live auction, a raffle drawing and much more. The event raises funds necessary to provide tuition assistance for students through the Shelton Endowment Fund and the Shelton Scholarship Fund. The last day to purchase tickets is Tuesday, March 22. |
CHARGER FAMILY DAY BASKETBALL CLINIC Boys Basketball Varsity Head Coach DeBryan Tyson invites boys and girls in 4th-8th grades to participate in our Charger Family Day Basketball Clinic, which is hosted by the Shelton Boys Varsity team Saturday, April 9, in the Shelton gym. There will be basketball, food, family and more basketball! The day is for current basketball players or someone looking for something fun to do. |
WINNING WAYS: GRACIE WHITE Seventh grader Gracie White and her MadFrog volleyball team won first place in a national volleyball tournament, the Triple Crown, in Kansas City, Missouri. She and her team beat teams from Arizona, California, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas. They are now the No. 1 ranked team for their age group in the United States. Their next tournament is in Salt Lake City in March. |

Krystal Cunningham is Shelton's Director of Athletic Training. Student Athletic Trainer tryouts take place every spring during Spring Football. Students in the program assist with care and treatment of Shelton athletes, game day/team practice coverage and daily routine of the athletic training room. Student athletic trainers attend NTATS (a student symposium hosted by the North Texas Athletic Training Society) and in the past have been invited as guests at SMU, TCU, Valley Ranch, Rangers Stadium and the AAC. | LADY CHARGERS BASKETBALL TAPPS DISTRICT HONORS Congratulations to Lady Chargers Peyton Frady, Deja Jackson and Kennedi Street for winning 1st Team All District Honors, Brilon Manning and Jesi Roberts for earning 2nd Team All District Honors and Kat Johnson-Pratt for receiving an Honorable Mention All District. Kudos to senior Kennedi Street for earning Most Valuable Player for the second time in her career! Congrats to Coach Kevin Burnett on earning TAPPS District Coach of the Year! |

IN FULL SWING: CHARGER GOLF Congratulations to Charger Golf! The team finished in first place at the Texas Torch Invitational. Kudos to medalists Aaron Nowell, third place, and Matthew Hebard, fifth place! The team also competed at the Jesuit Invitational and placed sixth. Congrats to Coach Adrain Hayes, Alex Frank, Matthew Hebard, Luke Markey, Michael Mitchell, Aaron Nowell, Peyton Owen and Ben Delagi. |
