GRANDPARENTS' DAY We are so excited to host Grandparents' Day Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m.! Due to the pandemic, we will conduct the event in the safest way possible with groups rotating between performances in the gym and in the classroom. Masks will be required. The event will be live-streamed here.
Name tags: Grandparents should have received their invitation and a name tag in the mail. The name tag includes the student's room number, so please remind grandparents to wear it to the event. Grandparents who do not have their name tag are welcome to come to a check-in table in the Main Entrance or the Fine Arts Entrance.

COVID-19 UPDATE: MASK PROTOCOLS Shelton transitioned to "masks encouraged" for grades 9-12 on Nov. 8. If all continues to go well, Middle School will transition to "masks encouraged" on Dec. 6. We are hopeful that Lower School and Upper Elementary will transition at a later date. This will give our students who are under 12 time to get fully vaccinated if their parents choose to do so. Until then, masks will be required for all individuals interacting with all LS and UE students. If we see case numbers rise significantly either at Shelton or in the community, mask protocols will be revisited.
DRIVE-THROUGH COVID VACCINATIONS DEC. 3 The Texas Allergy Center is scheduled to administer the second dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, Dec. 3. More information and the link for the Sign-Up Genius will be sent after the Thanksgiving break.

SUMMER SCHOOL 2022 Start planning now for Summer: The Shelton Way. Here's the latest information:
PLEASE SLOW DOWN ON CAMPUS The speed limit on campus is 10 mph. Numerous parents and students have been observed driving well above that limit. Please slow down to 10 mph before someone is injured. Students walk to and from the school, baseball field and the parking lot, especially during afternoon carpool and later. Parents, this is for your child's safety as well as others.
VOLUNTEER BADGES ARE READY Parents who have applied for a volunteer badge may pick up their badges at the front desk.
