The Shelton Stampede Committee has SEVERAL opportunities for volunteers.

Big Board Chairperson – The Big Board auction occurs during the Stampede Fundraiser (March 30th) where parents bid on displayed items via iPad/cell phone.  The Big Board Chair works with past Big Board auction donors to secure donations and creates new relationships with potential donors to secure new Big Board donations.

Live Auction Chairperson  – The Live Auction occurs during the Stampede Fundraiser (March 30th) where parents bid on items in real-time and as presented by a professional auctioneer.  The Live Auction Chair works with past Live Auction donors to secure donations and creates new relationships with potential donors to secure new Live Auction donations.

Solicitation Team Members – These team members will reach out to businesses and request gift cards or other donations for the Stampede Auction.

Join our team and meet new parents, interact with Shelton's staff, learn more about one of Shelton's largest fundraisers, and share your ideas.  If you are interested in learning more about one of these positions, please click here.

Please note: these positions can also be shared with another person (e.g., 2 Big Board Co-Chairs, 2 Live Auction Co-Chairs, and 2 or more Solicitation Team Members.)

GRANDPARENTS' DAY - GOODIE BAGS

We want to ensure that our grandparents and special friends enjoy their visit on Grandparents' Day. Here's a great way to advertise your business and help us at the same time!

If your business has any promotional/gift items, such as pens, pads, key chains, coupons, etc., we want to include them in our special goodie bags!

There will be over 900 grandparents and special friends in attendance on Grandparents' Day and this is a wonderful opportunity to promote your business to a large and appreciative audience.

Remember Grandparents' Day is Friday, November 16!

Your support is greatly appreciated!  Promotional items can be brought to Shelton's Development Office through Monday, November 12.  Questions?  Call Theresa Bruno at 972-774-1772 x2230 or Carol Scalzo at 927-774-1772 x2256.
