The Lady Chargers made history this past Saturday when they won their first playoff game ever! They were down 26-7 at halftime and made an incredible comeback to win 42-33! McKenzie Young scored 19 points and Trinity Byars had 13.  In the DMN  final area girls stats, McKenzie is the #10 scorer and Trinity is #10 in assists!

The cheering section makes a huge difference to the girls.  From Coach Burnett...

"I would like to thank the incredible Shelton Family, (students, parents, family, faculty and staff) for turning out to support the Shelton Girls Basketball TEAM on Saturday and watch history being made. The noise, support and encouragement spurred the TEAM to an AMAZING comeback win. The energy and momentum that you helped create sustained us to make up a 19 point deficit at halftime and 10 points at the start of the 4th quarter. 42-33 is a score we will remember for a long time!"

Shelton's Varsity Baseball Team will be playing our 'home' game against McKinney Christian on March 29th, 7:00 pm at Rough Riders Stadium in Frisco.  Mark your calendars.  We are very excited to be hosting this game!  Both parking and admission are free.
