Shelton Drumline and Band plays at YTexas at AT&T Stadium

The Shelton Drumline and Band played at the YTexas Summit at AT&T Stadium Friday, Sept. 30. The YTexas Summit is the largest business symposium in the state and features networking exhibitors, panel discussions and more. Attendees at the event included Texas's top corporations across the state, local universities and companies relocating, expanding and growing in the Lone Star State. Shelton was a sponsor of the event, thanks to Shelton parent Laurie Sprouse, president of Ultimate Ventures, a DMC Network Company. Thirty-one of the students made the trip and had the opportunity to showcase their drumline skills and play the national anthem. "It's no secret that Texas is a powerhouse state for business, says Ed Curtis, CEO of YTexas. "Our event demonstrates the scope and scale of Texas' massive $2 trillion dollar economy while also showcasing some of the state's most noteworthy and iconic brands."
