The Shelton Parents' Association

41st Annual Stampede Benefit & Auction
Join friends and fellow parents for the Shelton Parents’ Association’s largest fundraiser. The money raised by the Stampede is used by Shelton to pay for the special programs our kids love like theatre, visual arts, music, athletics, technology as well as the Shelton Faculty Fund.
The evening will feature a seated, three course dinner from one of Dallas’ premier caterers. Complimentary beverages include premium bar selections at three bar locations.
Be prepared to open your hearts and your wallets to bid on the amazing auction items that have been graciously donated by Shelton supporters. There will be once-in-a-lifetime experiences offered in the Live Auction and valuable art, jewelry, collectibles and personal services offered on the Big Board. In addition to traditional Heads or Tails and Mystery Bags, this year there will be a Wine Pull with wines ranging in value from $25 to $250.
The Bomb Factory is a state of the art 50,000 square foot music and concert venue located in historic Deep Ellum. The music of Journey is guaranteed to take you back to school dances and proms. And VOYAGE has been hailed by fans and critics alike as the BEST JOURNEY tribute band in the world. Fans agree that VOYAGE delivers the closest experience to the original Steve Perry fronted lineup.
There is no doubt that everyone in attendance will have an amazing evening while contributing to the success and education of the students of Shelton.

Contributions to the Shelton Stampede make a genuine difference and the impact extends beyond this year. The benefits to Shelton students will last a lifetime. Funds raised through underwriting and sponsorships offset the expenses of the event, ensuring that even more dollars go directly to the students.
There are a few corporate and individual sponsorships still available. Benefits include: VIP seating, recognition in multiple forms of print, online and signage at the event.
This year, there is a unique opportunity for underwriters to purchase a table with a special benefit - a table for 10 plus a private viewing experience in an upstairs suite. There are a very limited number of these and they are selling fast.

AUCTION DONATIONS - Online, Big Board & LIVE
The Stampede offers three different types of auction opportunities and take donations of any size. From the items that go for big bucks down to very popular gift cards, the Stampede will put it all to good use.
Live Auction - The best of the best that Shelton supporters have to offer. The Live Auction will feature once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experiences.
Big Board Auction - Items on the Big Board have a minimum value of $500 and range all the way up to PRICELESS. Custom artwork, jewelry, vacations, personal services and so much more will be available.
Online Auction - The online auction takes place February 20 - March 5. The online auction is where parents will find the items that their children really want. The Best of Shelton and Teachers’ Gift of Time are the categories that contain Principal for Day, personalized parking spaces at school, lunch delivered to classrooms and so much more.
RAFFLE TICKETS FOR FREE TUITION
There is no better investment than your child’s education. So the Shelton Parents’ Association is once again offering an opportunity to win FREE tuition for one child in the 2017-18 school year.*
The raffle includes all divisions, EC through 12th. Raffle tickets are $100 each or 6 for $500 and only 1000 tickets will be sold. Tickets may be purchased in person at any time, even on the night of the event.
The drawing will be held the evening of the Stampede, April 8. Winner does not need to be present to win, but why would you miss such a great party? There is no limit to the number of entries per person. Entries must be received by noon on April 7th.
Purchase your raffle tickets online and you will receive an email confirming receipt. Your raffle ticket(s) will be completed by the Stampede committee, the stubs will be mailed to you and the entries will be placed in the drawing on April 8th.
Applicable taxes will be paid for by the school. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax-deductible and you must be a resident of Texas to purchase a ticket.

The Stampede is off to a great start and we are BUSY! We need lots of volunteers to assist along the way. We are looking for phone callers, note writers, letter stuffers, bow tiers, cleaner uppers and so much more. Bring your friends for social time or make some new ones!
