Your Shelton Annual Fund Gift can be matched by:
- Go to Shelton's page on the donation website on September 18 only
- Click Donate Now once you are on Shelton School’s page
- The website will be busy that day and you may need a little extra time to make your gift
Giving to the Annual Fund is first and most important way to help support the school so we hope you will help us in reaching our goals this year.
We believe that no student's education is complete without exposure to and participation in the arts. While academics are a priority for any school, we recognize that the world would be an impoverished place without art, music, drama, dance and any other offshoot of the creative process. At Shelton we celebrate creativity and stand in awe of the unique talents of our students. In fact, many dyslexics are often gifted when it comes to the artistic arena. From early childhood to graduation, we strive to enrich the lives of our students through our many offerings. Our staff of notable professionals helps each student express his imagination and creativity.
Visual arts - painting, drawing, illustration, sculpture, photography, videography
Music - various levels of vocal and instrumental music, including band and choir
Drama/Theater - a wide array that includes acting as well as technical production
Shelton students participate in such activities as the ISAS Fine Arts Festival, the Texas Media Awards, the Dallas Museum of Arts Young Artists Exhibition and the American Film Institute Festival. A growing number of students are award-winning in recognition of their talents.
