This deck includes 28 cards with final stable syllables (such as consonant le syllables such as ble and others such as tion) and final French endings such as cial. Graphics are included to remind the student of example words. The deck is designed to be used for drill on the recognition and pronunciation of these common final stable syllables. The key word, coding and pronunciation are on the back of the card to ensure consistency.

Some final stable syllables are also considered suffixes or also hold meaning and indicate part of speech. When applicable that information is also included on the card.
