Annual Giving Campaign

The 2012-2013 Annual Fund is underway!

The Annual Fund is conducted each year to provide funds for operational expenses not covered by tuition and fees. Giving to the Annual Fund is the first and most important way you can support Shelton. All gifts, no matter how large or small, support the educational needs of our students. Gifts to the Annual Fund directly benefit:

• Specialized classroom supplies so our students can engage in multi-sensory learning.
  
• Visual and Performing Arts and Athletic facilities so our students can perform in a state-of-the-art environment.
  
• Building maintenance so our students can learn and grow in an efficient, comfortable facility.
• Financial Aid for deserving students.
  
• Competitive salaries to retain and attract the brightest teachers.

Shelton is currently conducting a $10,000,000 "Assuring the Future" Endowment Campaign. This endowment will greatly enhance and help guarantee Shelton's ability to provide a state-of-the-art education for every student, both today and well into the future. Shelton has identified four primary opportunities where Endowment support will be important in future years. These areas are:

• Faculty and Staff Salaries and Benefits
• Financial Aid
• Educational Technology
• Community Outreach

The Delphi Society

Delphi is a small town in the mountains of Greece where the famous oracle of Apollo supposedly took place, announcing the future. It is a symbol for seeking to know and shape the future.

To honor those individuals who seek to shape the future of Shelton School, the Delphi Society was established in 2003. This Society recognizes and thanks supporters of Shelton who have created provisions in their wills or estate plans to benefit Shelton School and have informed the school of their commitments.

Capital Campaigns

Since 1976 Shelton has been dedicated to and at the forefront of providing an excellent education for students with learning differences. While many of our goals have been achieved, others still remain as we continually evaluate our programs and the studentsand families we serve.
