Shelton Speech & Language Therapy


Shelton Speech and Language Therapy is widely recognized in the DFW metroplex. We provide evaluations and individual/group therapy for children and adolescents with articulation, fluency, voice, language, auditory processing and reading problems.

Our therapists provide audiological and vision screenings, evaluations and therapy to children in private schools throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth metropolitan area.


We are located on the Shelton School Campus at the north-east corner of Hillcrest and Arapaho (15720 Hillcrest Road) in Dallas, Texas.

Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Mission Statement
The Shelton Speech and Language Therapy department's mission is to provide quality services for the evaluation and treatment of preschool and school age children with developmental delays and speech and language disorders. The goal is to assist families and schools in early identification and intervention to maximize a child's ability to achieve his or her potential and to preserve self-esteem in the formative years.

Shelton School serves bright, creative students from three years through twelfth grade who learn differently.   Shelton also offers programs on Saturdays and during the summer for students who do not attend Shelton during the week.

The Evaluation Center evaluates children, adolescents, and adults to obtain a complete picture of the client through psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and/or psychological evaluations and makes recommendations for remediation.

Shelton offers teacher education for educators, parents, and the community through courses offered online and in person.  Materials are also for sale that support the coursework and implementation of our varied programs.
