THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14
Shelton Open House. Grades EC - 4 @ 6:00 - 6:45 pm. Grades 5 - 12 @ 7:00 - 8:45 pm. Follow your student's schedule, meet the teachers and learn more about the curriculum.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15
No school - Teacher in-service

Shelton Football Tailgate Party @ 5:30 - 7:30 pm. John Paul II Stadium, 900 Coit Road. Shelton Chargers v. Texas School for the Deaf. Halftime performances by Shelton Junior Chargers Cheerleaders and Dancers, bounce houses and more. Food for purchase from Ruthie's Grilled Cheese, Not Just Q, Easy Slider and Tikiz Shaved Ice and Ice Cream.

SEPTEMBER 22-24

Dads' Group Campout at Sky Ranch. This fun annual event is for all Shelton dads (can be a dad, or a special uncle, brother or friend) and their children in grades EC through 5th. It's a great opportunity to leave urban dwellings and enjoy time with your kid/s and other dads in their grade-levels. Siblings are welcome!

Online registration ends on September 13 at 6:00 pm. Space is limited to 150 people. Cost is $150 per person. Price includes cabin fees and five meals. To register, click here.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

Boosterthon Fun Run @ 12:30 for grades 3-5 and 1:30 for grades PP-2. Come cheer on the students during the Fun Run. At the sports fields across the street from Shelton. In case of rain, events will be held in the gym.

Volunteer Opportunities

CHARGER CORRAL: We need volunteers to work in the Charger Corral school spirit store! The Corral depends on our volunteers to be successful. Working in the Corral is easy, fun and a great way to get to know other parents, students, and the Shelton staff. The Corral is open 8:00-9:00 am Monday through Friday and 3:00-4:30 pm Monday through Thursday when school is in session.
