|  Presidents' Corner As our tenure as SPA presidents comes to an end, we wish to thank all of you for your generous support of our parents' association and our school. One of the things that makes Shelton so extraordinary is the level of commitment from our parents. Thanks to the SPA executive board for sharing your wisdom, expertise, and guidance throughout the year. Thanks to our SPA board of directors for raising funds, drumming up school spirit, building community, welcoming families, honoring our teachers and staff, and so much more. Thanks to our grade level liaisons for keeping parents connected to the school. Thanks to our many volunteers for keeping the wheels turning on our many events and activities.
And congratulations to our graduates and their families! Although your time here at Shelton may be coming to and end, we hope you'll stay connected through the alumni association an by continuing to support our school. We wish you all a wonderful summer - we'll see you back at school in a few months!

awards ceremony and lunch at approximately 1:00 at Altitude Trampoline Park, 110 West
Campbell Road, #400, Richardson. There are lots of lunch options available near the

This Summer! The PEN resale shop will open for purchases and will be accepting donations of gently used uniform pieces throughout the summer, any time the school is open. As always, all purchases are $5 cash/check. Come check out our inventory! The Corral school spirit store will be open during select summer school hours, depending on volunteer availability.
Thank You Thank you to our wonderful End of Year Luncheon Co-Chairs! Karon Jones, Shelly Lloyd, Shelly Capriotti and Jennifer Ortiz treated Shelton parents and staff members to a delicious luncheon with a dynamic speaker at the Northwood Country Club. We all enjoyed the yummy food, hearing about the many SPA accomplishments this year and also all of Suzanne Stell's end-of-year wrap-up information - including the Shelton Stampede gift to the school of $350,000! Thank you again Stampede chairs, Leti Lackey and Stephanie Hardeman for making this amazing gift possible to Shelton!
Another big thank you to the SPARK Award Co-chairs, Karen Higgins and Deborah Kish. They have been busy getting these special awards ready for five worthy recipients, who will be announced during the final staff appreciation luncheon. Each winning staff member will be given an engraved award along with $500 from the Shelton Parents' Association. Our lips are sealed on who the winners are, so be on the lookout for the SPARK award winners' names after the luncheon! Thank you in advance to Susan Rubin who has so graciously taken on the planning of the End of Year Staff Appreciation luncheon. She was not assigned to this responsibility but when asked, she jumped right in with that can-do attitude. We're all looking forward to treating the staff to a delicious luncheon, SPARK award presentations, and a thank you to another successful school year coming to a close. Finally, on behalf the entire SPA board, HUGE thanks to our SPA Co-presidents, Bailey Ann Broughton and Holly Vitullo! They dedicated endless hours to making our school community more engaged, more informed, and more fun! And they did it all with grace, intelligence, and a big dose of good humor. Thank you both for sharing your time and many talents with our parents and our school!
