Presidents' Corner

We've got a big week coming up with Middle School and Upper School Lunch with Dad events!  Remember - not just dads can attend. A special family member or friend can take part instead. Click here NOW to register before 10:00 pm tomorrow night.

Other fun events coming up are the Stampede Parent Mixers on January 27 and February 2. We ask parents to bring a donation to include in the silent auction. These offer a great chance to mingle with parents from your child's division while supporting the SPA.

Finally, we hope you'll consider attending the Stampede Volunteer Meeting on January 18 at 8:45 am. It takes a lot of parents to make our auction party a success. Fortunately, it's a lot of fun too.

Have a great week!

Volunteer Opportunities

Shelton Stampede: JOIN THE PARTY!!  All parents and volunteers are invited to attend the Full Stampede Committee Meeting on Wednesday, January 18 at 8:45 am in The Commons. We have several leadership opportunities that are FUN and also a great way to meet other Shelton families. These are sub-committee chair positions that require all kinds of skills and appeal to a wide array of interests. To find the job that's perfect for you, email us or click here!

Lunch With Dad: We need YOU! Volunteer to help at Lunch With Dad between January 23 and 26. Join the fun and sign up for the shift that works best for you. Help is needed with greeting our Shelton students and guests, verifying pizza orders and serving slices. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to help with set-up and to welcome dads.  For shift dates and times, click here. Questions?  Email spa.lunchwithdad@shelton.org.

Thank You!

The December IN N OUT Food Truck was a huge success for the SPA in spite of the FREEZING weather! Our wonderful volunteers Beth McDermott, Tom Preheim, Bailey Ann Broughton and Holly Vitullo helped deliver food to Lower School classrooms so that the little kids didn't have to stand outside and they also helped the IN N OUT team keep the line moving by taking drink orders as the kids came out. Thank you, wonderful parents!

Underwriting letters for the Stampede hit mailboxes this week. Getting them out the door would not have been possible if not for the expert stuffing abilities of Dina Brantman, Shelley Capriotti, Stephanie Rubin, Debbie Cohn, Linda Pong and Amy Biesman. These ladies donated their time on exam day right before the winter break. Thank you, ladies!
